Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. seeks a Financial Controller to lead consolidation across multinational operations, ensuring GAAP/ASPE-compliant reporting and robust internal controls. You will oversee month-end close and intercompany activities while guiding a growing accounting team.

You will partner with auditors and senior management, delivering insightful financial analyses for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, while maintaining timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, in controllership or senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/ASPE, month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, and consolidation accounting.
• Experience leading accounting teams and managing intercompany transactions.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems; ability to improve reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, with workload allocation and coaching.
• Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide insights to management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc projects for senior leadership.
