Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking a senior finance leader to coordinate monthly reporting, forecasts and budgets under the VP Finance, partnering with Controllers and leaders to ensure timely, accurate information for decision making. You will drive analysis of actuals vs forecasts, highlight risks and opportunities, and present executive-level reports.

The role emphasizes IFRS compliance, internal controls, and clear communication across the finance and operations teams.

Qualifications

CPA designation and 10+ years of finance experience, ideally in professional services or matrixed environments.
Experience preparing, reviewing and coordinating management reporting packages, forecasts and budgets.
Strong analytical, strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Coordinate monthly financial reporting, forecasts, budgets, and executive-level presentations.
Lead reporting requests requiring input from multiple Finance team members.
Partner with Controllers and operational leadership to align inputs and timelines.
Prioritize requests from senior leadership.
Analyze actual results against forecasts to identify drivers and risks.
Interpret financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
Review reports for accuracy and consistency.
Strengthen data integrity, IFRS compliance and internal controls, including 52-109 requirements.
