Job summary

WSP in Canada seeks a Senior Analyst for Global Corporate Accounting to join the corporate finance function in Montreal.

You will support month-end close, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting across head office and global entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. This permanent role offers exposure to finance leaders, cross-functional projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field together with a CPA designation.
• Five years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, corporate accounting, or financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany accounting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Support and perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, analysis, and reporting deliverables.
• Prepare, reconcile, and review balance sheet accounts for accuracy and timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Support multi-entity journal entries and intercompany transactions.
• Analyze profit and loss statements to identify variances and provisions.
• Assist with financial reporting for consolidation and intercompany processes.
• Support tax analyses for provisions and reports and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives.
