The role encompasses overseeing financial governance, managing accounting operations across Canada and the U.S., and collaborating closely with senior leadership to ensure effective financial strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with significant experience leading teams and implementing internal controls. The salary range for this role is between $140,000 and $160,000 per year, complemented by potential bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including experience in a Controller or senior finance leadership role.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience managing, coaching, and mentoring finance or accounting professionals.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing practices, and corporate finance principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting operations of the CDN and U.S. subsidiary.
• Manage accounting and financial reporting, including entity owning the company’s building.
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CFO and senior leadership.
