Job summary

The Semios Group is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives. You will analyze opportunities, build financial models, and craft memos for leadership, reporting to the CFO in a fast-paced tech-forward environment.

This temporary, full-time role through October 2027 offers hybrid work, a collaborative team, and opportunities to influence product lines, growth, and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 1-3 years in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or equivalent finance roles.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and three-statement models.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets proficiency with large datasets; AI skills a plus.
• Clear, concise communicator with data-driven mindset; capable of presenting results.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial evaluations of investment and partnership opportunities.
• Conduct strategic analyses: market, competitive, operational, profitability.
• Build detailed financial models, projections, and sensitivity analyses.
• Develop cash flow, three-statement models, and valuation outputs.
• Deliver insights to inform strategy, pricing, and investments.
• Support due diligence, documentation reviews, and forecast impact assessments.
• Create investment memos synthesizing market context and deal strategy.
• Contribute to long-term capital structure planning and scenario modeling.
