Job summary

Definity in Canada seeks an Executive Communication Lead to shape and amplify the voice of our CEO, COO, and CFO. You will translate complex strategies and results into compelling narratives and manage the executive brand across internal and external channels.

You will draft keynote speeches, town halls, memos, video scripts, and thought leadership pieces, coach leaders, and ensure messaging is authentic, accurate, and delivered with high emotional intelligence.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in corporate communications or journalism.
• 3–5 years in executive communications or speechwriting for senior leadership.
• Proven ability to mimic voices of multiple executives and deliver error-free, high-visibility work.
• Translate financial results and strategic updates into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the executive voice across internal and external channels.
• Draft speeches, memos, video scripts, board presentations, and thought leadership content.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to plan leadership visibility programs.
• Coach executives on messaging and delivery, leading prep sessions and dry runs.
