Job description

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Executive Communication Lead to act as a strategic advisor and writer dedicated to shaping and amplifying the voice of our most senior leaders, including the CEO, COO, and CFO. This is a highly strategic and creative role focused on translating complex business strategies, financial results, and cultural initiatives into compelling, authentic narratives. You will manage the executive brand across both internal and external channels, ensuring every keynote, town hall, memo, and social media post is aligned with the company’s overarching corporate narrative. The successful candidate combines exceptional writing agility with high emotional intelligence and the executive presence needed to coach, advise, and collaborate directly with the highest levels of leadership.

What To Expect
  • Executive Platform Development: Define, manage, and evolve the distinct "voice" and communication platforms for key members of the Executive Committee, ensuring a cohesive and authentic leadership narrative.
  • Speechwriting & High-Stakes Content Creation: Serve as the primary writer for our senior leaders, drafting compelling, audience-centric content for keynote speeches, all-company memos, video scripts, board presentations, and thought leadership articles.
  • Internal & External Visibility: Partner with internal and external communication teams to design and execute leadership visibility programs. This includes preparing executives for quarterly town halls, tier-one media interviews, and industry panels.
  • Strategic Counsel & Presentation Coaching: Act as a trusted sounding board for the Executive Committee, providing honest, constructive feedback on messaging and delivery. You will lead prep sessions and dry runs to ensure executives are confident and prepared for high-profile engagements.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 8–10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or journalism, with at least 3-5 years dedicated to executive communications or speechwriting for senior leadership. Proven experience in a publicly traded corporate environment is required.
  • The Authentic Ghostwriter: You have exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the proven ability to capture, mimic, and refine the distinct voices of multiple executives. You have a zero tolerance for errors in high-visibility deliverables.
  • Financial & Business Fluency: You can translate financial results, operational updates, and market dynamics into accessible, engaging narratives for a variety of audiences, from employees to investors.
  • Executive Presence: You have high EQ, confidence, and the ability to build immediate trust and project credibility with senior leaders. You have a proven ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential, or material information with integrity and discretion.
  • Agility Under Pressure: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can rapidly pivot messaging, draft crisis statements, or rewrite speeches on tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Salary Range: $106,500 - $156,500
