Job summary

The University of Guelph, located in Guelph, Ontario, is seeking an Evaluation Lead and Data Analyst in the Office of the Provost. This temporary full-time role supports Student Wellness Services by leading evaluation, data analysis, and knowledge mobilization across departments.

You will compile and analyze large data from multiple systems, translate findings into reports and dashboards, and advise leadership on priorities, planning, and policy direction with a focus on evidence-informed

Qualifications

Master's degree required and 3–5 years of applied data analysis or program evaluation experience.
Experience with large survey datasets, administrative data, and program-level evaluation.
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills with aptitude for research and analysis.
Ability to program in SAS, R, and SQL to write macros, perform queries, and analyze data.
Excellent written and verbal communication; translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
Experience in a health care context and handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

Lead evaluation, data analysis, and knowledge mobilization for Student Wellness Services.
Compile and analyze large data volumes from multiple systems and translate findings into reports and dashboards.
Provide strategic advice to SWS and Student Affairs leadership to inform priorities and planning.
Support data governance, survey design, and dissemination of findings within the university.
