EMCO Corporation WATERWORKS in Ottawa is offering a Strategic Development Program Trainee – Business Analyst role. You will progress through phases from warehouse logistics to operations, gaining exposure to sales support, inventory, pricing, contracts, and financial statements while developing process improvements with a high-performing team.

Qualifications include a business or accounting degree, strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Phase 1: Warehouse Logistics — learn products, how they move from vendor to customer, and support sales; work in yard/warehouse packing orders, serving customers, receiving and putting away inventory, and general maintenance.
• Phase 2: Operations — participate in customer service, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, customer visits, monitor lien and bond rights, review expenses, manage contracts and pricing structures, financial statements, and social media postings.
• Phase 3: Apply training — work with a high-performing team to improve business processes and efficiencies.

Job Description

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee - Business Analyst at Ottawa Waterworks, you will progress through a phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and everything in between.

Additional duties will include:

Phase 1 -Warehouse Logistics

• Learn the products we sell, how they get from the vendor to the customer and understand all levels of sales support. You will be working in the yard and warehouse packing orders, serving customers, receiving and putting away inventory and general maintenance.

Phase 2 - Operations

• Get involved in our customer service, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, customer visits, monitor lien and bond rights, review expenses, manage contracts and pricing structures, financial statements, social media postings and much more...

Phase 3

In this phase, you can take all of your training and put it into practice. You will be working with a high performing team to help improve business processes and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• College and/or University degree - business or accounting preferred.

Salary Range - $50,000
