EMCO Corporation WATERWORKS in Ottawa is launching a Strategic Development Program Trainee - Business Analyst. This full-time program takes you through warehouse logistics, operations, and pricing controls while you learn every aspect of our business from shipping to account management.

You will receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and opportunities to drive process improvements with a high performing team.

Qualifications

• College or University degree - business or accounting preferred.
• Positive attitude and results oriented mindset.
• Desire to continuously learn and grow.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Responsabilités

• Phase 1 – Warehouse Logistics: learn products, vendor-to-customer flow, assist in yard/warehouse tasks.
• Phase 2 – Operations: involvement in customer service, inventory, pricing controls, contracts and pricing structures.
• Phase 3 – Apply training with a high performing team to improve processes and efficiencies.

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee - Business Analyst at Ottawa Waterworks, you will progress through a phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and everything in between.

Additional duties will include:

Phase 1 -Warehouse Logistics

• Learn the products we sell, how they get from the vendor to the customer and understand all levels of sales support. You will be working in the yard and warehouse packing orders, serving customers, receiving and putting away inventory and general maintenance.

Phase 2 - Operations

• Get involved in our customer service,inventory and pricing controls, credit management, customer visits, monitor lien and bond rights, review expenses, manage contracts and pricing structures,financial statements, social media postings and much more...

Phase 3 - In this phase, you can take all of your training and put it into practice. You will be working with a high performing team to help improve business processes and efficiencies.

Salary Range - $50,000
