Job description

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a 5-phase program designed to give you comprehensive exposure to our business, from shipping and receiving to sales operations, purchasing, account management, and more.

Additional duties will include:

1. Phase 1: Warehouse Logistics
2. Learn about the products we sell, how they are sourced from vendors, and understand all levels of sales support.
3. Phase 2: Operations
4. Engage in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more. Transition from assisting customers to managing large-scale projects.
5. Phase 3: Outside Sales / Account Management
6. Learn to identify new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with customers and vendors.
7. Phase 4: Career Path Development
8. Apply your training to determine your ideal career path within the company.

Qualifications:

• College and/or university degree
• Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
• Desire to learn and grow continuously
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and high integrity standards
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
