Job summary

EMCO Corporation is seeking a Strategic Development Program Trainee in Kamloops, Canada. The program progresses through four phases, covering warehousing, customer service, procurement, account management, and leadership development.

You will work with customers and vendors to build strong partnerships while developing business and sales skills. The role offers a structured progression with exposure to shipping, operations, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• College and/or university degree required.
• Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with customers, vendors, and teammates.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Progress through a phased program learning warehousing, shipping/receiving, sales, operations, procurement and account management.
• Develop customer relationships and provide world-class service across phases.
• Engage in proactive sales, business development and expanding the customer base.
• Participate in leadership and operations activities to support the team and set strategic direction.

Job Description

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a4phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, accountmanagementand everything in between.

Additionalduties will include:

Phase 1 -Warehouseand Customer Service

A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.

Phase 2–Customer Relationships and Procurement

A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors,and providing world class service.

Phase 3–Account Management and Proactive Sales

A focus on business development and sourcing sales, expanding the customer base of thebusinessand creating strong customer partnerships.

Phase 4–Leadership and Operations

A focus on developingleadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.

Qualifications

• College and/or University degree

• Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting

Salary Range - 40,000 - 50,000
Plus profit sharing eligibility
