EMCO Corporation is seeking a Strategic Development Program Trainee to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving to sales, operations, and procurement.

You will rotate through four phases, building customer relationships, solving problems, expanding the customer base, and developing leadership and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• College or University degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Progress through a four‑phase program to learn every aspect of the business from shipping and receiving to sales, operations, purchasing and account management.
• Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service focus on warehousing procedures, shipping/receiving and counter support for customer transactions.
• Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement focus on problem solving and relationship building with customers and vendors.
• Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales focus on business development and expanding the customer base.
• Phase 4: Leadership and Operations focus on developing leadership competencies and strategic direction.

Job Description

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a4phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, accountmanagementand everything in between.

Additionalduties will include:

Phase 1 -Warehouseand Customer Service

A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.

Phase 2–Customer Relationships and Procurement

A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors,and providing world class service.

Phase 3–Account Management and Proactive Sales

A focus on business development and sourcing sales, expanding the customer base of thebusinessand creating strong customer partnerships.

Phase 4–Leadership and Operations

A focus on developingleadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.
