Job summary

EMCO Corporation invites applications for a Strategic Development Program Trainee. The four-phase program covers shipping and receiving, sales, procurement, account management, and operations to build a comprehensive understanding of the business.

You will progress through Phase 1 to Phase 4, developing leadership competencies, mentoring others, and contributing to strategic initiatives while gaining hands-on experience across departments.

Job Description

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a 4 phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and everything in between.

Phase 1 - Warehouse and Customer Service

A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.

Phase 2 - Customer Relationships and Procurement

A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors, and providing world class service.

Phase 3 - Account Management and Proactive Sales

A focus on business development and sourcing sales, expanding the customer base of the business and creating strong customer partnerships.

Phase 4 - Leadership and Operations

A focus on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.

Qualifications

• College and/or University degree
