As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you progress through four phases—from warehouse and customer service to account management and leadership—while gaining exposure to shipping, sales, and operations. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

• Phase 4 develops leadership competencies, coaching, and setting vision and strategy.

Job Description

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a 4 phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and everything in between.

Additional duties will include:

Phase 1 -Warehouse and Customer Service

• A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.

Phase 2 – Customer Relationships and Procurement

• A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors, and providing world class service.

Phase 3 – Account Management and Proactive Sales

• A focus on business development and sourcing sales, expanding the customer base of the business and creating strong customer partnerships.

Phase 4 – Leadership and Operations

• A focus on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.

Qualifications

• College and/or University degree

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
