EMCO Corporation is a leading construction wholesale distributor in Canada seeking a Strategic Development Program Trainee. You will progress through a four-phase program to learn every aspect of our business—from shipping and receiving to sales, operations, purchasing, and account management.

Job Description

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a4phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, accountmanagementand everything in between.

Additionalduties will include:

Phase 1 -Warehouseand Customer Service

A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.

Phase 2–Customer Relationships and Procurement

A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors,and providing world class service.

Phase 3–Account Management and Proactive Sales

A focus on business development and sourcing sales, expanding the customer base of thebusinessand creating strong customer partnerships.

Phase 4–Leadership and Operations

A focus on developingleadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.

Qualifications

• College and/or University degree
