Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a materials planning professional in Ottawa to plan, schedule, and monitor material flow through the production cycle. You will determine material requirements from schedules and coordinate with purchasing and engineering to develop specifications for new orders.

The role emphasizes MRP-driven demand management, what-if scenario analysis, and close collaboration with Master Production Scheduling to mitigate supply risks and ensure timely material availability.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages demand intake for product and contributes to the END item supply plan in the MRP.
• Analyzes demand requirements vs. supply commitments and possibilities.
• Performs what-if analyses for demand changes before agreements with customers.
• Executes MRP run for changed demand and supply requirements.
• Coordinates with Master Production Scheduling to ensure closed loop feedback on risks to meeting supply.
• collaborates with Purchasing for material availability and lead times.
• Partners with Account Management and Supply Chain Management for order quantities and buffer inventories.
• Reviews plan with Master Production Scheduling weekly to monitor changes and capacity.
