Job summary

Axon in Canada is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to oversee deployment of both small-scale and complex enterprise-grade products. You will manage all aspects of deployment, ensure milestones are met, and support revenue recognition with proper documentation.

You will work with business and IT leaders to define vision, scope, and timelines, participate in scope and objective definition, support work estimation, and manage stakeholders including Axon vendors and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or related technical engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience using technical PM tracking tools.
• Experience delivering and/or managing device deployment, infrastructure or enterprise applications projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages aspects of deployment from small accounts single product implementations through to complex enterprise-grade product deployments.
• Oversees project-level change management activities in conjunction with client partners and internal stakeholders.
• Ensures project milestones and deadlines are met and associated documentation supports customer acceptance for purposes of revenue recognition.
• Works closely with business and IT leaders to define the vision, scope and delivery timelines for project deliverables.
• Participates in the definition of project scope and objectives through research and fact finding.
• Supports work estimation process in support of project planning activities.
