Job summary

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, is seeking a Production Planner to ensure on-time delivery by planning manufacturing activities and resources for the plant. You will collaborate with materials, engineering, operations, quality, and production to drive timely manufacturing and robust reporting.

The role emphasizes capacity evaluation, scheduling accuracy, and cross-functional coordination to meet demand forecasts and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in Operations Management or Commerce is an asset.
• Proven experience in a production planner position within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in ERP systems, SAP and advanced Excel skills.
• Data analysis experience - ability to utilize databases, spreadsheets, flowcharts to forecast, model, analyze, simulate.

Responsibilities

• Plan manufacturing activities and resources to meet the demand schedule for the assigned plant.
• Liaise with materials, engineering, operations, quality, and production to ensure timely manufacturing.
• Lead and advance production reporting and analysis.
• Maintain weekly and daily production plans using the monthly forecast.
• Evaluate capacity and identify constraints; recommend improvements.
• Coordinate material availability with purchasing and materials departments.
• Manage materials requirement plans based on production schedules and forecast demand.
• Coordinate outsourcing activities as a solution to capacity constraints.
• Build and manage production KPI reporting and visual scheduling.
