Job summary

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, seeks a seasoned Continuous Improvement lead to assess plant performance and design futures state improvements for data center equipment manufacturing. You will drive projects, coach teams, and ensure alignment with JCBS guidelines across the organization.

The role requires strong leadership, statistical know-how, and proven ability to implement cross-functional improvements while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years in Continuous Improvement and 5+ years as an operational frontline leader.
• Demonstrated initiative and drive to exceed expectations.
• Strong leadership across vertical and horizontal levels.
• Solid statistical knowledge applied to product and process improvements.
• Certifications from a reputable lean leading company are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without authority.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and email/Internet tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps in performance metrics and work with plant teams to set and execute improvement plans.
• Assess current operations, define Future State, and drive implementation and monitoring.
• Coach staff and leaders in JCBS and lean practices.
• Ensure process owners are involved in software development and team leadership.
• Prepare detailed plans, track progress, and drive transformational projects.
• Collaborate with leadership to create a CI Roadmap balancing efficiency with customer focus.
• Document learnings and share best practices across AHU plants.
• Support the Plant Manager on strategic initiatives and standards compliance.
