Job summary

Niagara Regional Police Service is seeking a Business Analyst to translate complex data into clear insights that support strategic initiatives and evidence-based policing. You will work with internal stakeholders to develop dashboards, reports, and performance frameworks that drive improved service delivery and community outcomes.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, continuous improvement, and engagement with leadership to monitor strategic plan progress and evaluate outcomes.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field with professional designation (CBAP/CCBA or PMP/CAPM).
• Minimum four years of related experience in business and organizational analysis, including requirements gathering and process mapping.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex data into clear insights to support strategic and operational initiatives.
• Collect, integrate, and analyze data to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps.
• Prepare analytical reports to support leadership decision making.
• Establish and monitor performance frameworks with KPIs and OKRs.
• Support forecasting and predictive analysis related to demand and crime trends.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across operations and service delivery.
