Job summary

Hutchinson in Canada is seeking a Cost Analyst to maintain current product cost data reflecting production and purchase costs across the company’s products. You will support Finance in annual cost reviews, prepare unit cost data for quotations, and assist with special projects and year-end audits, in collaboration with Finance, Engineering, Sales and other plants.

Strong Excel and Word skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems are required, along with a Bachelor's degree and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; 4–8 years of related experience and/or training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across Finance, Engineering, Sales, and plant personnel.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; understanding of product routings and inventory flow in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current product cost data to accurately reflect production and purchased costs.
• Assist Finance in annual review of standard product cost data and anticipated cost increases.
• Prepare unit cost data for quotations reflecting current costs of production and major cost increases.
• Assist in special projects and costs studies as well as annual year-end audit.
• Other duties as assigned.
