Job summary

Heroux Devtek in Canada is seeking a cost accountant with 4–7 years of manufacturing experience to manage product costing, variances, and the cost ledger. You will close monthly books and support budgeting and audits in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Collaborate with the Controller and production teams to provide financial insights, maintain cost accounting systems, and prepare routine reports for management and stakeholders. A CPA designation is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 4–7 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• CPA designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review product costing and variances.
• Maintain cost accounting systems and cost ledger.
• Execute month-end cost accounting closures.
• Collaborate with Controller and manufacturing teams for financial support.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audits on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports.
