Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate development, accounting, transaction advisory, or similar analytical role.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, due diligence, and valuations.
• Advanced excel, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
• Strong business acumen, and a practical understanding of how businesses generate value, manage risk, and allocate capital.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders.
• Experience in infrastructure development and/or project finance would be considered an asset.
• CPA, CFA, or CBV professional designation would be considered an asset but is not specifically required.

Responsibilities

• Mergers and Acquisitions Support – assist all phases of the M&A process from outreach to post-closing reporting.
• Evaluation & Financial Analysis – build financial models, valuations, cash flow, and scenarios.
• Strategic Research and Market Intelligence – conduct market and competitive research on trends.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – work with operating groups and external advisors on transactions.
• Executive-Level Materials – prepare investment memoranda and management presentations.
• Commercial and Strategic Review of Infrastructure Procurements – analyze bids and mitigate risk.
