Job summary

AutoCanada Inc. seeks a seasoned Manager, Corporate Accounting for its Edmonton Corporate Office. The role oversees the corporate accounting function, ensuring general ledger accuracy, and leading monthly closes. You will manage intercompany activity, uphold accounting policy compliance, and support audits.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8+ years’ corporate accounting experience, CPA designation, IFRS knowledge, and proven leadership to drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and internal controls is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close for corporate entities and ensure accuracy.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations; oversee intercompany activity.
• Oversee corporate accounting systems maintenance and ERP enhancements.
• Coordinate internal and external audit engagements and ensure compliance.
