Senior Accountant

They are looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of month-end and year-end close, balance sheet controls, and payroll oversight for their Canada operations, while also supporting corporate tax filings and driving continuous process improvement. What You'll Do

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and accurate financial reporting
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls, investigating discrepancies and ensuring reporting accuracy
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual corporate tax filings
• Oversee the payroll process for Canada operations, ensuring accurate processing, thorough audits, and compliance
• Identify process improvements and strengthen accounting workflows and internal controls
• Partner with teams across the organization on financial analysis, reporting, and business insights that support informed decisions

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• CPA designation
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday is a plus
• Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams
