Job summary

Canadian Niagara Hotels Group of Companies is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all financial aspects of the business, reporting to the COO. This leadership role drives strategic planning, risk management, and financial performance across our hospitality portfolio.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in financial management within hospitality, CPA designation, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial management and accounting.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a large team.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in hospitality industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Finance, IT, and Security departments.
• Lead a Finance team of ~36, including treasury and accounting staff.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting systems and controls.
• Participate in monthly financial meetings and provide analysis.
• Coordinate with external accounting firm and legal counsel.
• Drive cost reductions, tax savings, and process efficiencies.
• Lead Corporate Business Planning and budgeting processes.
• Oversee financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance with department heads and drive improvements.
