Athabasca University is seeking a Governance Coordinator - Board to support good governance and provide strategic, anticipatory, professional support to the Director Governance, the Vice President Governance and University Relations, and the Board of Governors. The role coordinates activities with campus and external partners to strengthen governance processes.

Qualifications

A related degree and five years related experience or a related post secondary diploma and five years related experience showing increasing levels of administrative responsibility and proven supervisory skills.
Experience in post-secondary governance will be considered an asset.
Equivalencies may be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide strategies and professional support for the Director Governance, the Vice President Governance and University Relations, and General Counsel.
Assist the Board of Governors and Board committees with governance processes and activities.
Coordinate activities with a wide range of campus and external individuals and groups.
