Job summary

Avenue.io Inc. seeks a Board Coordination professional to support Assisted Living Alberta (ALA) governance, ensuring agendas, briefing materials, and governance documents are prepared and maintained.

You will liaise with the Board Chair, executive leadership, and Alberta ministries to ensure timely information and adherence to governance processes. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the role requires discretion, sound judgement, and extensive experience in board governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years governance/board support experience.
• Experience coordinating board and committee processes, preparing minutes and resolutions, maintaining governance records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate board and committee governance processes, apply knowledge of bylaws, policies and meeting procedures.
• Prepare agendas and briefing materials, document minutes and resolutions, track decisions and follow-up actions.
• Support onboarding, governance calendars, reporting deadlines, and stakeholder engagements.
