Job summary

CMLS Financial is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business intent and technical execution in commercial mortgage technology. You will write user stories, design interfaces, and define requirements that drive the platform forward.

You will transform stakeholder ideas into feature scopes, work with developers, and continually learn the evolving platform to deliver impactful solutions. This role emphasizes collaboration and practical problem-solving across teams.

Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience as a business analyst, product analyst, or project management.
Ability to translate business needs into structured technical requirements.
Strong collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Drive innovation by transforming stakeholder ideas into user stories, feature scopes, and technical requirements.
Create customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes to define user experience before development.
Investigate system behaviour, navigate databases, and resolve reported issues at the source.
Work with front-end and back-end developers to ensure feasibility and smooth feature delivery.
Gather requirements, analyze user behaviour, and champion product improvements to solve real-world pain points.
