Job summary

CMLS Financial is seeking a Business Analyst to translate stakeholder ideas into user stories, interfaces, and requirements for our commercial mortgage platform. You will design interfaces, map user journeys, and work with developers to ensure feasible, timely delivery.

You will explore system behavior, analyze data, and maintain close stakeholder relationships to deliver impactful solutions across our lending ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a business analyst, product analyst, or project management.
• PMP or BA certification is a great plus.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment with tight feedback loops between stakeholders.
• Owns problems and drives feature ideas from concept to completion.
• Ability to distill vague requests into structured technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transform stakeholder ideas into user stories, feature scopes, and technical requirements.
• Create customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes to define UX before development.
• Investigate system behavior, navigate databases, and resolve issues at the source.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers for feasible, seamless features.
• Gather requirements, analyze user behavior, and champion product improvements.
• Implement system changes to tailor lending solutions to business needs.
• Triages stakeholder inquiries and bugs with transparent status updates.
• Learn the nuances of commercial mortgage lending and evolving platform.
