Job summary

Co-op Meadow Lake is seeking an experienced agronomy sales professional to drive budgets, margins and program development within the Agro division. You will build relationships with farmers and retailers, promote sustainable agronomy services, and lead compliant, profitable programs.

You will collaborate across teams, mentor staff, and contribute to marketing efforts while adhering to OH&S and regulatory standards. A driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ Diploma in Agriculture or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in agriculture/sales.
• Designation such as CCAB or PAg is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse customers and internal teams.
• Proactive problem-solving with a responsible attitude and timelines.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Meet budgeted sales volumes and margins, driving profitability and excellence in Agro.
• Develop and implement sustainable agronomy programs to increase revenue.
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
• Coach and support farmers and colleagues with agro expertise.
• Contribute to marketing discussions using operation knowledge and agronomy expertise.
• Ensure all agronomy programs comply with OH&S and regulatory standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
