Job description

Looking for candidates located in Montreal, Canada.

The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for retaining Axalta Coating System’s key collision shop customers. They will maintain and ensure Axalta, our distributors, and customers are delivering on all elements of the business agreement with their predefined customer base. This is a remote role based in Quebec. Candidates must be fluently bilingual in French and English.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Understand the key elements of the business agreement with the account.
  • Create mechanisms to measure Axalta’s performance against our promised deliverables.
  • Periodically reassess customer needs to refine the evolving company-wide strategic plan.
  • Set reasonable KPI goals company-wide and per location.
  • Track necessary data monthly to analyze performance.
  • Collaborate to create a strategic plan.
  • Focus on optimizing material gross profit and reducing liquid costs per hour.
  • Provide in-depth consultative support regarding top-line sales, estimatics, SOPs, and leadership development for long-term customer success.
  • Facilitate process improvement roundtables with key staff as needed.
  • Coordinate periodic meetings to review strategic account plans, goals, and milestones.
  • Lead paint conversion efforts when new customers or locations are added, utilizing distribution resources.
  • Post-conversion, assist in setting up customers with Axalta's value-added resources.
Job Requirements :

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with extensive Automotive Refinish sales background and a strong track record in sales and customer support.

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 10 years of industry experience.
  • Effective written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of collision repair processes.
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects per customer.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
