Job description

Essity Health and Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Account Manager for Long Term Care and Acute Care channels. The role involves providing ongoing support, implementing business strategies, and promoting innovative technologies and solutions to foster profitable business relationships and develop new revenue streams. Key responsibilities include promoting Tena incontinence care, JOBST compression, orthopedic products, and advanced wound care products across all channels and customer segments.

This is a remote position covering Woodstock to Windsor, ON. The ideal candidate should reside within the territory and be willing to travel frequently.

What You Will Do
  1. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with accounts to promote brand awareness and secure profitable business in all channels (Long Term Care, Acute markets).
  2. Create, implement, and monitor customer-specific sales plans and marketing strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Collaborate with internal and external partners to grow the business.
  3. Serve as the primary contact for all products and services, raising the company's profile through in-services, seminars, presentations, and training for customers.
  4. Recommend products and services that align with client needs, and assist in developing training and education programs related to disease treatment therapies.
  5. Work with the RSD to ensure channel growth, implement business strategies, and negotiate contracts.
  6. Gather market intelligence on customer needs and competitor activities.
  7. Analyze customer data to identify risks and opportunities.
  8. Support facility-level business reviews.
  9. Collaborate with marketing to provide value-added tools to accounts.
  10. Work closely with the Central team to support chain accounts, assist with education, participate in conversions, and develop new programs.
Who You Are
  • University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant sales or account management experience.
  • Experience in healthcare sales, preferably in Long Term Care and Acute Care, is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with compression garment fitting and wound care is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strategic thinker with advanced negotiation skills.
  • Strong time management skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing plans effectively.
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare value chain.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and CRM tools.
  • Deep knowledge of the company's products and services.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
