We’re looking for a Storekeeper - Kitting (Student) to join our Satellite Systems team at our Montreal office.

Role:

This role involves performing various tasks related to inventory control for flight, production, and traceability. The candidate may also be required to perform duties of the Production Helper and General Assistant positions.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Receive merchandise from inspection.
• Validate and store received merchandise, update database accordingly.
• Prepare kits and maintain traceability of used parts.
• Maintain inventory and distribute consumables.
• Perform cyclical inventory counts.
• Transfer parts between projects.
• Pack parts.
• Keep the store organized and clean.
• Assist with basic incoming inspections (e.g., opening boxes, confirming quantities as per R/S Receipts).
• Operate equipment to transport materials.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum qualifications:

• Secondary school vocational diploma, high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Valid credentials.
• Basic knowledge of English is an asset.
• Ability to retrieve and enter data using a computer system.
• Experience with production databases.
• Good knowledge of French.
• Manual dexterity.

Position details:

• Training will be during the day shift, lasting up to 8 weeks.
• Temporary summer position.

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level and pass security assessments for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
