Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Oshawa is seeking a store associate to support merchandising, receiving and customer service with a focus on accuracy and presentation.

You will manage backroom inventory, follow BIMI processes, operate PDT and MMS systems, and help ensure displays are clean, organized and shopper-friendly. Responsibilities include accurate receiving, documentation, and assisting store leadership, while upholding health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize backroom product and follow BIMI processes.
• Use PDT and MMS systems to perform daily tasks.
• Manage exit strategy and product returns as directed.
• Be expert in inventory, placement and expiry dates.
• Maintain store image and trends in-store.
• Ensure displays are consumer-focused and 'shoppable'.
• Receive merchandise per policies and keep backroom neat.
• Document receiving and returns correctly.
• Support store leadership in maintaining quality and standards.
• Present a clean image per uniform policy.
• Acknowledge and assist customers in aisles.
• Comply with health, safety, store standards and loss prevention policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Some computer and cash register skills.
• Be well organized with record keeping.
• Detail oriented and able to work independently.
• Self-motivated.
• Able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladder.
