Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a permanent, full-time Retail Operations Manager to lead daily activities across a retail service establishment in Canada. You will direct staff, optimize workflows, manage budgets and implement merchandising and pricing strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, English communication, and the ability to oversee payroll, scheduling and performance reviews in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation certificate required.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in retail operations.
  • Proficiency in English; ability to direct and evaluate daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and control daily operations to meet targets.
  • Plan, organize and evaluate ongoing operations and staff workloads.
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and volunteers; oversee payroll.
  • Develop marketing strategies and merchandising plans.
  • Manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and plan staffing needs.
  • Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply issues promptly.

Job description

WORK SETTING

TASKS


  • Direct and control daily operations

  • Evaluate daily operations

  • Plan and organize daily operations

  • Manage staff and assign duties

  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales

  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold

  • Implement price and credits policies

  • Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies

  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses

  • Determine staffing requirements

  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers

  • Oversee payroll administration

  • Conduct performance reviews

  • Supervise office and volunteer staff
