Job summary

Ardene is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead a busy retail location on-site, with a focus on driving sales, profitability, and customer experience. This temporary role involves supervising merchandising, staff development, and daily operations while aligning with district guidelines.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of retail management and a background in visual merchandising, plus strong leadership and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Experience and/or education in visual merchandising preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the District Supervisor to develop and implement strategies to achieve store sales and profit budgets.
• Train store team on company standards and programs.
• Address underperformance with District Supervisor support and resolve conflicts.
• Recruit and retrain talent by motivating the team and recognizing good performance.
• Perform opening and closing procedures per operational guidelines.
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.
• Prepare and manage weekly employee schedules.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve them promptly.
• Comply with head office requests regarding store operations.
• Manage incoming merchandising shipments and returns to head office as required.
