Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in Canada. You will work with the Store Leader to coach staff, lead customer service, and drive merchandising and promotional programs.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage cash and loyalty initiatives. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with a willingness to develop leadership skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading store teams and delivering customer service.
• Ability to train and coach employees and develop leaders.
• Experience implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Comfort with cash handling and fuel transactions.
• Promoting loyalty programs and customer engagement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership alongside the Store Leader.
• Identify and develop qualified applicants; empower staff for productivity.
• Assist in merchandising and marketing program implementation.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty-promotions.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment with health and sanitation standards.
• Communicate clearly with team and stakeholders; use MS Office tools.
