Job summary

Winners, part of TJX Canada, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Mississauga. You’ll empower a large team, drive sales, control expenses, and manage operations across merchandising, service, and backroom functions in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll lead, train, and mentor Associates, implement action plans, and contribute to business strategies while supporting a positive, inclusive culture and growth opportunities within TJX Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence and provide effective feedback and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing key operations.
• Attract, recruit, and develop Associates; mentor and role model positive, engaging experiences.
• Communicate plans for projects, targets and store changes; contribute to succession planning.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense and customer service targets; coordinate loss prevention.
