Job summary

The Children’s Place in Belleville, Ontario is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by completing cash-wrap operations, opening and closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty. The Store Lead will represent the brand, engage customers, maintain store standards, and support teamwork and employee development.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of retail experience, and being at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through coaching of associates.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns.
• Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during reviews.
• Motivate staff to build brand loyalty and positive store culture.
• Represent the company professionally on the sales floor and in stockroom.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operations and knowledge.
