Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will collect returns, distribute sales flyers, and assist in upselling while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, excellent English communication, and the ability to build relationships with professional customers. A high school diploma and basic math skills are expected, with opportunities for bonuses and employee discounts.

Essential Job Skills Necessary For Success As a Driver

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and leadership
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques

Prior Experience That Sets a Driver Up For Success

• Automotive parts experience is preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation Range: The range of expected compensation for this role is between 17.95 CAD and 18.85 CAD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered to a successful candidate depends on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
