Job summary

FloFORM Countertops in Abbotsford is seeking a Full Time Material Handler for our Stone Plant. The role involves shipping, receiving, loading, transporting, inspecting and packaging stone tops and slabs, using forklifts and lifts, in a busy yard and shop. You will maintain a safe, organized work area, update inventory and order status in our computer systems, and coordinate shipments with carriers. Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good measuring and basic math skills.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Understanding of warehouse processes and safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspects tops and slabs, reading drawings for quality specifications.
• Loads and packages countertops onto shipping frames with proper protection.
• Receives inbound slabs and records inventory transactions.
• Transports materials through shop and yard; maintains organized storage.
• Uses computer systems to update order status and locate job information.
• Coordinates shipments with carriers and plans shipment sizes.
• Inspects and maintains forklifts and equipment; performs daily checks.
• Executes daily work instructions from Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area; supports housekeeping.
