Job summary

Marble Arts in Burnaby near Brentwood Mall is seeking a full-time Stone Installer to transport, measure, and install stone surfaces for projects in residential and commercial settings, with a focus on precise fit and high-quality finishes.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. You will read blueprints, cut and install slabs, and collaborate with clients and contractors. A valid Driver's License and Canada residency are required.

Qualifications

2+ years proven experience in stone installation or construction.
Knowledge of stone materials and installation techniques.
Ability to lift heavy slabs and work in physically demanding environments.
Strong attention to detail and precision.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and install stone slabs for countertops, floors, walls, and other surfaces.
Transport and handle stone safely to prevent damage.
Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and installation plans.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure installation.
Apply adhesives, sealants, and finishing touches as required.
Perform on-site quality inspections and troubleshoot installation issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work area at job sites.
Collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors.
