Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, AB, is seeking a part-time Purchasing Administrator to provide purchasing administration and order coordination support for the School of Manufacturing and Automation and the School of Transportation.

The role involves preparing requisitions, obtaining routine quotations, entering purchase orders, tracking orders, maintaining purchasing records, and coordinating delivery documentation under the direction of the Team Lead.

The Opportunity

Salary range:$61,152.00 -$65,664.00 (based on a 40-hour work week). Placement within the range is typically based upon a review of skills, experience, and internal equity. This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week.

Hours per week: 20hrs (This is a part-time permanent position)

This position provides purchasing administration and order coordination support for the School of Manufacturing and Automation and the School of Transportation. The role supports approved procurement activities by preparing requisitions, obtaining routine quotations, entering approved purchase orders, tracking orders, maintaining purchasing records, coordinating delivery documentation, and supporting inventory replenishment activities. The work is performed under the direction of the Team Lead and follows established purchasing procedures, vendor agreements, institutional procurement requirements, and manager approval processes.
