Job summary

Walmart Canada in Longueuil, QC is seeking a Stocking Associate to assist in leadership of the stocking processes, respond to problems, and develop associates through teaching and training. You will ensure a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion and will assist on the sales floor as required.

The role involves planning, task delegation, merchandising, safety, and daily team communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and promoting products/services
• Coordinate daily tasks and ensure completion per priorities from coaches and management
• Assess department presentation and implement merchandising changes as needed
• Lead daily team huddles, communicate updates, set goals and track productivity
• Review schedules and assign associates to cover all store areas
• Identify training opportunities and develop associates through teaching and feedback
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure displays are secure
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support management
• Assist with performance conversations and recruiting efforts
