Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Ottawa area is seeking an associate to provide customer service by stocking shelves and assisting customers. You will stock picks, merchandise, and maintain a safe, clean store environment while working as part of a team to meet workload and operational goals.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, locating products, resolving issues, signing merchandise, maintaining shelf integrity, supporting stock unloading, and helping with backroom stock as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Review workload for assigned area(s) of the store.
• Sign merchandise accurately.
• Maintain modular integrity and shelf capacity.
• Work merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensure proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete tasks.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment by following company policy and completing safety logs and securing displays and fixtures.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.
