Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Mississauga, ON is seeking an Associate to provide excellent customer service while stocking shelves and merchandise in a safe, clean environment. You will work with a team to plan and execute tasks based on workload and operations.

Key duties include greeting customers, assisting with product location and decisions, signing merchandise, maintaining shelf integrity, supporting stock unloading, and preparing backroom areas for stock flow while following safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.
