Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp in Thompson, MB is hiring for a stocking associate to provide customer service by stocking picks and new merchandise in a safe, clean environment. You will work as part of a team to plan and execute duties based on workload and operational needs.

The role focuses on greeting customers, assisting with product promotion, locating merchandise, and resolving issues while maintaining inventory integrity and shelf capacity. Training on safety and backroom prep is provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.
