Job summary

Walmart Canada in Portage la Prairie, MB is seeking a Stocking Associate to support customer service by stocking picks and new merchandise in a clean, safe environment. You will work with a team to plan and execute tasks based on workload and store operations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, locating merchandise, signing stock accurately, and maintaining shelves and fixtures while adhering to safety procedures. The role starts at CAD 16.55 per hour.

Qualifications

• Work as part of a team to manage workload and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.
